Ting Cheung is an MPhil student at CDH and a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a BA in Translation. Her passion lies in exploring the power of translation and its ability to bring maturity and add value to source texts. To investigate how translations of a single work contribute to its evolution, she believes that taking a broad perspective is crucial. Therefore, her research aims to combine the close reading methodology with digital techniques and visualise the findings to provide a bigger, clearer picture of the power of translation.
