Do you have a film project which would benefit from expert guidance? Cambridge Digital Humanities Learning Programme offers students and staff at the University of Cambridge the opportunity to apply for support from our team of mentors over a six-month period from December 2019 to June 2020. Selected projects will also benefit from guaranteed places on our specialist film-making workshops and a one-day masterclass session in June 2020 tailored to their individual project needs.

This programme is aimed at film-makers who have already begun work on a project or who have some prior experience (for example you have already attended Beginners Film-Training sessions at the University of Cambridge or an equivalent course).

Minimum commitment:

  • Four one hour individual mentoring sessions over Skype to be arranged at mutually convenient times with your mentor between December 2019 and June 2020
  • Guaranteed places on our programme of half-day specialist film-making skills workshops in Lent and Easter Term 2020
  • Guaranteed place on a one-day masterclass with our film tutors in June 2020 for the four supported projects in this scheme.

Eligibility:
This programme is open to students and staff at the University of Cambridge. PhD students and Early Career Researchers have priority for the scheme, but applications from other categories of staff and students are welcome.

Application forms should be returned to CDH Learning (learning@cdh.cam.ac.uk) by Monday 4 November 2019. Successful applicants will be notified in the week beginning 11 November 2019.
