Amelia attended Brown University, where she graduated with a dual-major in Computer Science and in East Asian Studies. Her undergraduate thesis focused on cybersecurity and privacy, specifically regarding gendered exploitation and abuse online. After graduating in 2021, Amelia joined McKinsey’s Cybersecurity practice in New York, where she worked to support companies in the US and Taiwan to augment their customer safety and privacy capabilities. As a Digital Humanities student, she is interested in learning about identity formation and relationship formation online as the landscape of privacy evolves.
