My academic focus centres around computational approaches to the humanities, as well as technology and its effect on culture. I’m particularly intrigued by the potential of transformer based Natural Language Processing to dissect large bodies of text, and unveil hidden topics, trends, and patterns. Additionally, I am eager to harness the power of other machine learning techniques, such as computer vision, to enhance our comprehension of the humanities and add a quantitative element to its study.
