Shreepali is Professor of Film & Screen, University of the Arts London, filmmaker and writer.  A former BBC producer/director, her practice-led research is underpinned by 30 years of film and broadcast industry experience. She provides story consultancy and the development of new strategies and creative intervention to support the preservation of identity, culture and heritage and to surface diverse voices through powerful narrative driven experiences. She founded the multi-award winning research institute, StoryLab, Cambridge where she holds a Visiting Professorship and the BAFTA and Emmy winning Eyeline Films.

Recent and current projects include: a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (UKRI) with the UK-Antarctic Heritage Trust; The Frontline (PI, AHRC RIFA Seed); FoodCult (Co-I, ERC); Stories in Transition (Co-I, AHRC). She holds several advisory, associate, trustee and executive positions including British Association of Film & Television Screen Studies, Royal Television Society, Museum of Zoology, Cambridge University and the Cambridge Junction.
