I grew up in Chengdu, China, and attained a bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication studies. During my undergraduate studies, I developed a keen interest in the dynamic interplay between various forms of media and their impact on individuals and society. Specifically, I focused on digital labour and cultural representation. In addition, the reconstruction of cultural aesthetics in the context of social media and its aftereffects are topics that fascinate me. As I study at CDH, I plan to delve deeper into the social and cultural concerns that are impeding media’s ability to function as infrastructure, using fresh viewpoints and innovative methods.
