Stephen Turton is a Research Fellow at Gonville and Caius College specializing in the history of English dictionaries from 1600 to the present, with a particular interest in their representations of marginalized language varieties and social groups. One of his projects is a collaboration with Charlotte Brewer (Oxford) to digitize and edit the correspondence of Sir James A. H. Murray, the first editor-in-chief of the Oxford English Dictionary (www.murrayscriptorium.org).
