Yerin Kim is an MPhil student at CDH. Her bachelor’s degree is from Yonsei University Underwood International College (Seoul, South Korea) in Justice and Civil Leadership. She also completed an MA in International Relations at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China and an MS in Applied Artificial Intelligence at Sungkyunkwan University.

As a researcher at Ars Praxia, a consulting firm that utilizes data science, Yerin participated in Information Strategy Planning for the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and a digital transformation project for Seoul Newspaper.

Her research focuses on the interdisciplinary approach combining international relations and artificial intelligence using both quantitative and qualitative methods. This includes applying computational methods for analyzing international dynamics and utilizing international relations theories to understand how global society is dealing with advanced technologies such as AI.
