Yixun Zhou is curious about how computation and programming can be applied to large-scale literary text analysis. After finishing his Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics at the University of Nottingham, he joined Mphil Digital Humanities to explore metaphor recognition through natural language processing. He is interested in any cultural values and features revealed by metaphor identification and relate those to long term history.
