Yizhen Wu is currently pursuing an MPhil degree at Cambridge Digital Humanities. She completed her undergraduate studies at Nanjing University, China, majoring in Theatre and Film Studies with a minor in Art and Cultural Creativity. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she developed a keen interest in theatre, film, and fine arts. Her previous research primarily focused on the history of Chinese contemporary films, exploring themes such as the peeping perspective, gender trauma and discipline within these films. Presently, her research interests lie in the realm of digital media in contemporary theatre, as well as further exploration in the field of digital exhibitions. Alongside her academic pursuits, Yizhen has also taken on roles as a director, writer, and producer in various theatre and short film projects. She aspires to incorporate digital methods into her own creative endeavours.
